Savigliano represents the packing and shipping division of all our products. All our cheeses, which are produced and matured in their dairy factories of origin, are here checked and selected before being sent to the final customers.
- Racconigi
The town of Racconigi is situated close to the northern border of the Cuneo province and it hosts one of the most beautiful residences of the Savoy Royal Family where in this “Pleasures Villa” the Kings of Italy – from Charles Albert to Victor Emmanuel II up to Umberto I – used to enjoy the pleasantness of a territory, rich in history and flavours. Directly from the traditions of the royal cheese makers, Perla is proud to present the products of the Royal Dairy Factory, a selection of cheeses with a refined taste which will undoubtedly fill with pleasures all the most demanding palates.
- Murazzano
The Murazzano PDO, the farm and the dairy factory are situated here, in the heart of the Langhe region. Surrounded by hills and immersed in the green of a pristine nature, we breed the Langhe region sheep with the greatest care. Only these animals provide a guaranteed milk for the Murazzano PDO and the other Langhe region specialties, which are carefully matured, in order to enhance the taste of the final cheese.
- Frabosa Soprana
The dairy factory is situated in the heart of the Piedmontese Alps, at an altitude of over 900 metres and it represents the centre of the production of the Perla “jewels”. Only here, in the high mountains, you can find the ideal conditions in which the animals are able to live and graze all year long. The fresh air, the alpine pasture grass and the handmade processing, as people used to do in past times, are a part of the cheeses which will be ready to be eaten, after a maturing period of several months. Thanks to a long time spent on carefully chosen wooden boards, our dark cellars totally immersed in the mountains and our experienced master affineurs who treat and knead our products, the cheeses are finally ready to be consumed.
- Saluzzo
At the foot of the Alps and Mount Viso, in this dairy factory we exclusively use the milk of our lands, according to the traditions of the ancient Piedmontese cheese making skills. The final result is represented by PDO products and specialties of upper quality which is recognised worldwide
