The society “Perla” S.n.c. was established in Nichelino around the middle of the twentieth century. For several generations the trade, production, ripening and refining of typical Italian dairy products were run by a company with a family-like atmosphere.
Over the years, the group has known a constant and substantial progress to carry out its activity, but in 1995 the entrance of the new ownership, situated in Savigliano, represented the turning point of the company. Since that day, we have progressively increased our offer by:
- producing Piedmontese and mountain cheeses;
- portioning and packing the over-mentioned products and all the most important Italian cheeses;
- distributing typical cheeses from other regions and European countries as well as working as a cold cuts trader.
The wide selection we offer, added to the remarkable experience we have developed in exportation, give us the chance to candidate as a unique partner for all those companies that are looking for a reference point of Italian products.
The origin of Perla cheeses comes from the pristine pastures of Piedmont, a north-western region of the Italian peninsula. It is the ideal place to breed sheep, goats and cows: fresh air and pure water, added to high-quality hay and cereals, create the best conditions in order to obtain an extraordinary milk for dairy working.

The Langhe region, the most popular Piedmontese hills, are known all over the world for their extraordinary traditions of wine and food excellence and it is here, in the municipality of Murazzano, that we find our farm.
